DHSA/TKG and the US Embassy’s Ambassadors Fund came together to renovate three historic sites in Afghanistan:

• 19th Century Pavilion at Bagh-i-Babur Gardens,
• the 17th Century Mullah Mahmood Mosque in Kabul’s old city
• Rehabilitation of 18th Century Shrine of Shah Shahid.

DHSA/TKG is also home to a one of its kind Afghan classical and international music series with various free public concerts co-sponsored by TKG and The French Cultural Center the past two years and is planning a regional Music Concert, Rock the Kasbah to bring together regional and western musicians as an act of civil disobedience against voices of extremism in the region and the world.
